16 oz. can. Hazy pale orange. Smells of orange, sweet pale malt, and a touch of grapefruit. Tastes of orange, a little lemon, and a bit herbal. More interesting than the nose. Light grain and a lemony finish. Medium body. Pretty good.

Traded for this a few months back, as the date on the bottom of the can was 3/31 with "INTL PLAYERS ANTHEM" written below it. I didn't dislike this beer but my main impression of this was that it was the most "typical" of Finback's offerings that I've had over the last year and change. If you want a solid IPA that doesn't exhibit characteristics of beers from the east or west coasts, you've found your brew right here!
Not a bad look to this beer although the can that I had must have had a leak as much of the carbonation was gone when I finally poured this out. The hue was golden and the aroma had both equal parts stone fruit, sweetness, and sour, pilsener-like malt to it. Plenty of those were found in the taste as this had an odd balance to it, with plenty of body, light citrus, apricot, and sour grass to it. The malt here had some cracker to it as there was plenty to chew on to make up to the boldness of the hops and fruit flavors, but this never felt weak or watered-down. A less-than-moderate amount of carbonation kept this from feeling too heavy while still scrubbing the flavors away after each sip and the light amount of lacing seemed appropriate given the clarity and brightness of the hue.
The alcohol was spot-on and complemented the mild dankness and lime pith that lingered in the aftertaste. While not a bad beer, this wasn't far from being outstanding. There was plenty to like here but in the end, it was solid and mildly memorable without having anything in particular stand out about it. Loved the label and how smooth it was, as it easily measured up to Finback's other offerings. Plenty to savor in all aspects!

Tall silver can.....3/31/17 on the bottom
Pours hazed, larger off white cap
Fruited up nose, with a slight scallion note
Middle of the road, NE IPA...hops here are just not popping...some fruit, but not the juicey dank bomb of flavors so many crave......on the lighter side, so more refreshing..somebody else mentioned that this might be a good beach beer....meh...not overly impressed here.

On-tap 4/18/2017 at Natty Greeneās Tavern in North Attleboro, MA, served in a tulip glass.
A: The beer is a light gold color, with a short off-white head that fades slowly and leaves a thick lace on the glass.
S: The aroma contains fruity citrus, floral cops and caramelized malts.
T: The taste starts out sweet with flavors of citrus and caramel. Then a strong but not over-powering floral hops bitterness comes in. The malt character is hearty and brings a very good balance. The after-taste is slightly sweet and slightly hoppy.
M: Crisp and very smooth, medium body, medium carbonation, finish is slightly sticky.
O: Tasty, goes down easily, not too filling, good kick, good representation of style, this is a very solid IPA to drink for a long time.
