look: 4 | smell: 4.25 | taste: 3.75 | feel: 4 | overall: 3.75

Poured from the can into a snifter.
Pours a hazy medium star color with ample head.
Aromas are really lovely lots of tropical fruit, bright juiciness and some bubblegum.
Flavor is rather mellow and disappointing, nowhere near as vibrant as aromas.
Mouthfeel was good.
All in all, my first try from Finback and aroma was great but wish flavor matched the aroma.

16 oz. can dated 4/6/17

Pours murky turbid opaque gold with a creamy frothy white foam head. Smells like melons, bready malt, orange citrus peel, lemon, grapefruit pith, mango, pineapple, funky guava, peach, with spicy floral earthy herbal grassy pine. Tastes like tart tropical citrusy stone fruits, some melons, orange peel, lemon, grapefruit pith, mango, pineapple, guava, peach, bready malt, with spicy floral earthy herbal grassy pine. Feels medium bodied, creamy with moderate carbonation. Overall a really nice hoppy brett pale ale.

4/6/17 on the bottom of the can...

Poured into a tulip glass, it looked quite similar to fresh mango juice because of its gorgeous orange haze, very juicy look.
Nice white head that didn't stick around too long.
Smell is definitely intense with nice mango tones and some hints of dank fruit aromas.
Taste is in your face tropical fruits and citrus but not crazy citrus. A very well rounded dry finish hits you with some pineapple and yeast, The super dry finish comes with a few sprinkles of spice too in my opinion. No bitterness whatsoever but tons of flavor. Absolutely incredible for a 4.7% to show this complexity. You can thank Finback again for their heat.

'fermented with saccharomyces bruxellensis trois producing tropical brett characteristics, dry hopped with citra and azacco"

4/?/17 on the bottom (smudged)

Pours lighter, typical NE IPA clouded/turbid look, large and lasting off white head. Super fresh and fruity nose. Interesting and complex brew with some bretty/yeasty tartness/funk, loads of sweet tropical fruityness, with ripe pineapple up front, melding with bright grapefruit, mango and lime....tropical fruit...bretty funk...yeasty overload on the final pour....simply delicious...my kinda beer....go get some

16oz. can into a Surly teku. Shared with schen9303.

NE IPA look. Cloudy and juicy. Nose has hints of citrus, pineapple, starfruit and mango. Sweet with huge tropical notes. Beer opens citrus rind and orange juice. A light, spritzy tartness in the middle with a foamy, accented sweet fruit finish. Almost no bitterness. Feel is light with moderate carbonation. Super drinkable. Goes down easy with a bone dry finish. Excellent!

A crazy amount of flavor in a 4.7% package. Awesome for the style.
