A 1 pint can with no canned on or best before date printed on it. Poured into a Lost Abbey teku glass.

Appearance: A hazy golden straw yellow colour with a one finger white head that dissipated fairly quickly but left some nice lacing.

Aroma: Juicy and tropical mango, peach, apricot, pineapple and lemon zest.

Taste: Not what I was expecting given the aroma. Just pineapple from the tropical side along with citrus lemon and lime with perhaps some grassy, herbal and floral notes. Finish is lightly bitter.

Mouthfeel: Light to medium bodied with moderate carbonation.

Overall: Great tropical aromas which didn’t translate in the taste, although still quite nice and definitely refreshing. Just not as ‘juicy’ as I had hoped for given the wonderful aroma.

Melon, cantaloupe, grass and orange. Larger than normal malt profile. Building citrus zest bitterness. Not too sweet. Kind of earthy. Not bad, but not the best.

Really hazy yellow color with off-white head. Aroma is dank but also juicy with sweet lemon and lime notes. Taste follows with juicy hops, a light grainy note, some hop burn on the finish but not really bitter. Medium body with medium to low carbonation. Really nice NE style IPA, juicy, grassy and easy drinking.

Tall can w/o canning date info.

NE IPA kinda look, leaves widely scattered sheets of fine lacing.

Just a hint of ripe fruits on the nose.

Smooth, medium creamy and quite tasty on the palate, ripe tropical fruits carrying the freight, pineapple, and oranges coming to mind....well done FB...go get some

no canning date
Decent fizzy smaller head little lacing, murky orange color

Nose citrus, pine sap, grapefruit, melon rind, hop oil, little stone fruit, creamy wheat, pith, orange pulp

Taste mild sweetness, tons of creamy wheat with a biscuity toasty thing and slight copper thing, plenty of hops, citrus, tangerine, tart grapefruit, lots of pith, paper pulp like, pineapple, little pine sap hop oil resin, fair to mild bitterness, quite creamy

Mouth is med to light bod, creamy soft, decent carb.

Overall pretty nice.

16oz. can into Nightshift stemware.

Very little head in this one. Nose is pretty typical. Hints of citrus, pineapple and cantaloupe. Sweet, juicy, deep. Beer opens aggressive. Hints of lemon zest sweetness mixed with clementine and pineapple in the middle. A nice touch of bark-y hop bitterness towards the back finishes this one out. Body is light with ample carbonation. Prickly and lively in the mouth and goes down crisp refreshing with a clean, dry aftertaste.

Pretty drinkable and nice balance in the flavor. I especially like the little hop presence in the back of this one making it at least a bit different than every other NE IPA.
