16oz. can served in a willibecker. Dated 01/11/19 on the base. Pours a dull, straw-gold with a slight haze to the clarity and a loose, 1/8th inch, off-white head that dissipates into a broken slick. Nose is clean and grassy with hints of noble hops and a trace of sour mash. Taste consistent with nose with the addition of a light, lemony quality. Mouthfeel is light in body with a pleasant, even carbonation. Overall, decent; however, not clean or crisp. Decent effort, but one and done for me.

Poured from can. Pours a clear golden yellow. Aroma is subdued but can detect some pineapple and citrus. Tastes juicy and full of hop flavor. Medium light body. Nothing like any German pils I've ever had but a terrific US craft version. Come for the hops, stay for the smooth lager finish.

A: The beer is rather hazy yellow in color and has a moderate amount of visible carbonation. It poured with a finger high bright white head that died down, leaving a thin layer of bubbles covering the surface and some lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Light aromas of bready malts are present in the nose along with hints of oranges.
T: The taste follows the smell, having notes of bready malts, hints of corn, and faint bits of orange citrus. There is a slight amount of bitterness.
M: It feels just about medium-bodied, rather smooth and somewhat clean on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer has a very pleasant smoothness to the mouthfeel that is unique for a pilsener.

Melon, cantaloupe, peach, lemon and grass. Smooth and mellow tasting. No bitterness. Balanced. Strikes a nice balance between pale ale and pilsner. Nothing remotely close to a classic Pils, but it tastes pretty good.
