Greenish yellow color with a light haze. Nearly no head and what's there dissipates to nothing leaving no lace.
Lots of pineapple and mango to the nose. There's some white pepper and, after the third whiff, definite grapefruit rind aromas. Complex.
The flavor is slightly off with a plasticy smell that reminds me of Creepy Crawlers (I know, I'm old). The malt has a light sweetness that is quickly overwhelmed by the bittering hop, even though this is not an extreme beer. The body seems rich but this is probably from the lack of carbonation. The finish is more fruity than hoppy.
