Collaboration with Noble Ale Works
This collaboration with Noble Ale Works takes a tiki inspired vibe - deep chocolate, subtle touch of coconut and finished with pineapple.

Pineapple Coconut Imperial Stout
Big, rich, roasty, fruity nose. Hint of fat, sweet, tropical pineapple. Barely a whisper of coconut. Palate is very, very rich. Med+ sweetness. Big, complex flavors; none predominant, but coconut more noticeable, adding maple syrup, roasted malt, chocolate, coffee. Quite fruity too. Very deft balance. Lots of interest. Honestly, Stouts with this much residual sugar are less attractive a few sips in, mainly because they usually/often are only showing off monochromatic, but not this puppy. Impressive. Have been a fan of the high quality craft brews @ #Finback for a while.

On tap. Black color, mocha head. Aroma has fresh roasted coffee, crushed beans, a bit zesty. Taste is bittersweet and a bit acidic, balanced overall, tasty. Full bodied, medium carbonation.

375ml capped bottle into Night Shift stemware. Shared by schen9303. This one's categorized as a pineapple coconut imperial stout brewed in collaboration with Noble Ale Works.
Nose is molasses, chocolate, fudge brownie, coffee and subtle notes of toasted coconut. Coconut presence is very muted... which is a little disappointing and the pineapple is a no show. Good aroma but not as advertised. Beer opens coconut, chocolate, molasses and fudge. Waves of sweetness wash over the palate with all the imperial stout flavors I can handle. There's some vanilla, lactose and espresso too. Really nice. Again, the coconut is subtle but appears right at the beginning to signal that its there. As I drink more and more of this, the pineapple starts to come out a bit also, as if to sneak a peak at what's happening behind stout-laced curtains. The feel is where it's at with this one. Full body with low carbonation. Smooth, rich and hefty on the palate. It's robust but not so much so to be overwhelming. Really soft and rich going down with a sticky finish. Excellent.
This is awesome. Really worth seeking out.
