IPA dry hopped with Citra, Azacca and Meridian. Deliciously juicy and turbid, notes of orange, subtle melon and ripe fruit.

16 oz. Can
CANNED: 03/21/19
Almost 5 months on this can.
My first from this brewery.
Poured into a Tree House glass a very nice cloudy pale yellow color, very nice carbonation, with a very nice thick/creamy one-finger off-white head, which also leaves some pretty nice sticky lacing behind. The nose is hoppy, malty, with a pretty nice citrus complex (orange, tangerine, grapefruit, mango, peach, apricot), pretty nice diesel like. The taste is pretty nice hoppy, malty, with a pretty nice citrus complex (orange, tangerine, grapefruit, mango, peach, apricot), nice little sweetness, pretty nice diesel like. Medium body, ABV hidden very nicely, with a nice little dry/bitter finish. Overall, this is a very nice brew. Orange Julius! Addictive! MilkShake! Nice to see it around here. Also, fresher.

A: The beer is cloudy whitish yellow in color. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that quickly settled down, leaving a narrow collar around the edge of the glass and lots of specks of bubbles covering the surface.
S: Moderate aromas of limes are present in the nose along with notes of gooseberries.
T: The taste follows the smell and has flavors of gooseberries and limes along with slight hints of grapefruit.
M: It feels medium-bodied and juicy on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This Imperial IPA is all about the gooseberries and limes and does a very good job at hiding it's alcohol.

Can from City Swiggers on the UES. Pours a very hazy orange juice yellow, light yellow tinged foamy head with sudsy lacing, smell is sticky peach nectar with candied citrus twist, cotton candy, Swedish bilar, taste is sharp/acidic bitter box orange juice, hints of stone fruit, pineapple, cantaloupe, pine bitter finish, this beer is medium bodied, with a prickly eye watering burning from the floaty bits. There seems to be a theme with there super precipitously hazy beers of the back of the throat spice/burn which I don’t necessarily dislike but simultaneously it’s not the most pleasant. Overall a nice offering from the reliably excellent Finback.

Sample at Mikkeller Beer Celebration Copenhagen 2018, Green Session. Really hazy, pale yellow milky look. Aroma is dank, herbal, grassy, really hoppy. Taste is sweetish but hoppy, well balanced with tropical notes, melon and light bitterness throughout.
