Excellent citrus lemon aroma/taste. The beer is a little hoppier than Finback usually brews its IPAs. It would be even better if the recipe was tweaked so the finish is far less hoppy.

Good brew, lots of fruit on the nose, not too fruity in the mouth, just right. Still I’d love a little more weight.

Beautiful lemon-yellow body (for the murk bomb style). Completely opaque and turbid; excellent head production and decent retention.

Nose is mildly dank, with notes of grapefruit, lemon, orange, and mango. It's fairly classic Citra, as expected.

Delivers a ton of flavor for the ABV, verging on IIPA levels of juicy hop expression and smooth semi-sweet malt. Typical of Citra, the expression on the palate leans more tropical than citrus (inverted from the nose), leading off with mango, melon, and papaya, and rounded out with a bit of lemon, mandarin orange, and grapefruit rind. Mild pungent dankness.

Mouthfeel is smooth and creamy, but maintains a very lively bite. Nails the style.

A: Pours a hazy yellow color with 2 fingers of head that fades down to a thin cap

S: Lots of citrus up front along with some lighter floral and bready notes

T: Follows the nose. Starts off with lots of citrus followed by the floral notes and balancing bready maltiness. Light-moderate bitterness. Finishes with lingering citrus peel

M: Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. A touch on the prickly side

O: A solid citra hopped IPA that is easy to drink. Well balanced. Worth checking out

My first beer review in quite some time.

After having a recent haul of inadequately carbonated Trillium IPAs, it was nice to have one properly carbed up. This beer is crisp as hell and easy drinking all the way. The Citra hops power through nicely. Quite frankly had a smile on my face while drinking it. What made it even better was I paired it with a New York Strip topped with blue cheese.

It was canned a couple of weeks ago and showed no signs of being "too green" or "needing more time". That's the way it should be with any IPA.

Kudos to Finback for consistently producing top quality hazy stuff.

Tall can, writing on the bottom is illegible.

Fully hazed/clouded pour, moderate strands and spots of lacing left behind.

Bright lime and smoked pineapple sniff.

More of the same on the palate.....bright, fresh and flavorful...again lots of lime, smokey grapefruit notes, along with some grapefruit....complex and bold take on the style....well worth a try or two....go get some
