A: The beer is very hazy pale dark yellow in color. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that quickly settled down, leaving lots of lacing around the sides of the glass and a large patch of bubbles on the surface.
S: Light to moderate aromas of grapefruit and lime citrus are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell, but has less flavors of grapefruits and additional notes of mangos and hints of pine. Only a light amount of bitterness is perceptible.
M: It feels medium-bodied and faintly juicy on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This beer tastes like a hybrid between an American Imperial IPA and a New England IPA as it's bursting with lots of fruity flavors and even has some juiciness to the mouthfeel. Any traces of alcohol were well hidden from the taste.

Can. Pours way different than I anticipated for some reason. Pure New England IPA look. The rye threw me off. I was expecting darker. Thought I saw a picture of the beer before too. Losing it. Anyway, I think this is a pretty cool idea for a beer. Finback and I have had up and down times. Once I smell the beer I am sorta sold, though. Resiny, deep, tropical hops. Harkens back to the days when some beers weren’t scared of they wreaked of pungent hops. I thought it smelled like Nelson but it’s actually Mosaic, Citra, and Idaho. Flavor is tasty! Probably my favorite Finback. Tastes a lot like Trillium beers made about 3-4 years ago; soft feel but feral flavor. The rye adds a very pungent, spicy element. This was really good! Can art rules. The liquid is on point too.

Pours cloudy opaque orange amber with a creamy white foam head. Smells extremely dank to another level, with notes of hot dog, spice, resin, tortilla chips, rye, some tropical stone fruits and sweet citrus. Tastes really nice and juicy, but at the same time quite earthy, with interesting notes of sweet melons, papaya, red grapefruit, orange citrus, grainy rye, suggestions of peach, mango, apricot, pineapple, with mild savory notes, some dank resin and floral earthy herbal pine. Medium bodied, thick creamy mouthfeel with moderate carbonation. Overall a real nice DDH rye DIPA.
