Splash pours a light and hazy straw yellow with a loose and soapy one finger head that dissipates quickly. The smell is fruity with peach and mango combining with a sweet melon, tangerine that reminds me of juicy bubblegum. The taste is complex on the palette with fruity citrus including peach, mango and orange with a smell hop bite.

Served in a tulip
Hazy, marigold yellow appearance. The body was topped by a small, finely bubbled white film that quickly fell to a thin collar. Minimal spotty lacing trickled down the glass.
The aroma was fruity and pleasant but rather subtle initially. Peach notes were apparent. Bit of mango too. Juicy citrus notes appeared later and intensified as the beer warmed. Tangerine was most noticeable. Hint of alcohol.
The flavor profile was similar to the nose but more punchy and complex. Fruity and bright with big peach and mango notes. Citrus appeared in the center. Juicy orange and tangerine notes came to mind. Touch of white wine. More tangerine and tangerine peel on the back end and the finish. Subtle white grapefruit notes too. There was the slightest bit of pithy bitterness after the swallow.
Excellent fluffy, lighter bodied mouthfeel. The liquid contained a super fine, lively effervescence that turned creamy and smooth on the palate.
Crisp, tasty, balanced and crushable, Splash seemed to display more of the characteristics typically found in a Finback IPA than one brewed by Equilibrium. That said, this is a solid collaboration and a nice respite from the overly syrupy and sweet hoppy beers that have become all too common today.

Pours a hazy light straw color with a nice white billowy head. Aroma is sweet melon, tangerine, lemon, light grapefruit, zebra stripe gum. This is one of the best aromas I have experienced on a DIPA. Flavor is very unique. Floral and melon come to mind. Honeydew melon, Meyer lemon, navel orange, hibiscus, sweet but no lactose. Very unique and delicious. Carbonation adds to a creamy mouthfeel. Overall, an outstanding DIPA.
