Drank from a 1 pint (16 fl. oz.) can purchased at Fort Point Market, Boston, MA
Served in a tulip
Hazy straw yellow appearance. The nearly opaque body was topped by a small, frothy, bright white crown that quickly dissolved. A thin collar encircled the liquid. Tiny dots of lacing trickled along the glass.
The aroma was really hoppy and clean. Lots of melon character. Honeydew melon came to mind. Some guava and papaya as well. Citrus was also detectable. Juicy orange and tangerine specifically. Hint of apricot too.
The flavor was also fantastic. Again, honeydew melon notes came through big time. Some peach as well. Bit of guava. Slightly sweet. Citrus notes appeared next. Nice juicy orange and tangy tangerine presence. Pineapple was noticeable in the center. Some rind-like pith came through on the back end and in the finish. Hint of lingering bitterness.
Outstanding soft, fluffy mouthfeel. Medium bodied for the style. A super fine, zippy, tongue blanketing effervescence gave the beer a terrific creaminess on the palate.
With its super fruity, clean and well balanced flavor profile and pillowy soft mouthfeel, this beer was comparable to many of Tree House’s better IPAs. With so many notable versions of the style being produced these days, Finback nevertheless manage to stand out in the pack.

Can. Another Finback hazy beer. I like how they continue to churn out new ones. I'm not always in the mood anymore for the haze but when I am I usually don't mind trying out a new Finback. This beer pours right. Smells right too. Deep hoppiness. Almost green hoppiness. Flavor is sweet and hoppy and creamy in both flavor and feel. A tasty offering. This exact beer is being made across the country - but only by the breweries that know how to do it well. Checks off the boxes for this type of beer.
