On tap at Albany Ale and Oyster in Albany, NY.
This one pours a milky and hazy yellow color, with a small head and lots of lacing.
There’s a lot of sweet and toasty coconut on the nose, and it melts incredibly well with the watermelon. That’s a tough fruit to nail in beer in an authentic way, and it’s done well here. There’s very little raspberry, but that’s ok, as it allows the base hoppy blonde to shine through - with lemon and citrus splashed across the finish.
This is light bodied and creamy, with a pretty fantastic level of drinkability. I could drink a lot of these for sure.
