Light creamy head, low retention, cloudy pale color
Nose loads of juicy pineapple and tropical fruit, pithy citrus, then big doughy wheat cracker, little dank earthy hop but no onion
Taste creamy base malt, doughy wheat, cracker, floury, medium to lighter bitterness with hops that start spicy and herbal, then tropical fruit, big pineapple, a bit juicy, citrus and a little grapefruit, drier finish, spicy herbal hops a little green
Mouth is med bod, little juicy creamy, lower carb
Overall not bad, surprisingly good hops for the mosaic, but a little low on the malt and carb, malt base isn't great

Pint can, super hazy dirty orange with a brownish tinge. Head settles pretty quickly leaving foamy lacing. Smell is citrus fruit, but not strong. Taste is grapefruit and piney, with a biting bitterness. Feel is juicy but with that biting aftertaste. Overall, a good IPA but maybe the biting and pineyness are more than most want - perhaps that does match the "Covered in Cats" naming though.

From a can dated 8/14/19. Thumbs up higher than normal. A very easy drinking, hoppy, slightly fruity IPA. Some grapefruit, pine notes but light on its feet. This is a limited release it seems but would hope to see this recipe come out again. Especially good for a summer IPA...refreshing, not too high ABV, nice clean taste.
