On tap at Tap and Mallet in Rochester, NY.
This one pours a slightly hazy golden orange color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This feels a bit more old school than the typical Finback hazeboi, and that's pretty cool. There's a sharp but vibrant grapefruit thing going on, with orange, pine, grassiness, herbal hops, and mango.
This is super drinkable and smooth, with grapefruit, mango, and orange creamiscle, along with enough grassiness and herbal bitterness to invoke the feelings of an actual IPA from 2012. It went down extremely quickly.
This is crisp and clean, with a fresh hoppy bitterness on the back end, and a very high level of drinkability.
I feel like Finback is pretty unheralded when it comes to NY breweries. This is good stuff, and pleasantly/mildly old school.
