Undated can into imperial nonic pint glass. Monticello Beer World!
I love highly aromatic beers that jump out of the glass into my nostrils. This one does not do that.
But it is a complex melange of dank, hoppy goodness on my lips. It passes over both sides of the tongue and challenges you to sort out the flavor notes. Really a lot to unpack here...
Sticky, like Waldo’s.
Color is dense honey brown/gold, totally opaque.
This is not an easy sipper, one that is more viscous than loose...nice lacing as you go down into it.
Alcohol does come through, though it wears an ornate cloak of flavors that try hard to hide it.
This is a nice respite from the juice bomb binge I’ve been on. I’d seek this one again...one to savor.
