Dark chocolate color with a 1F head in a Spielgelau Stout glass.
Strong chocolate, maple syrup, coffee aroma.
Smooth MF.
Aroma transitions well to the taste- chocolate, maple syrup and coffee.
Excellent stout. I’m used to Finback’s IPAs, but their stout brewing is first rate.

This one pours a fairly dark black color, with a big fluffy head, and sheets of lacing.
This smells like earthy maple, soy sauce, smoke, and roasted malt.
Finback is usually pretty solid, but this feels like a slight misstep. The maple is done fairly well, but there's a weird smokey and oily astringency on the back end, along with light soy sauciness. There's a touch of roast and vanilla, too.
This is slick, oily, and kind of thin. It's a slow sipper due to the off-flavors.
This was a bit of a miss for me. It wasn't necessarily bad, but it also wasn't really good, either.
