Good but not for me. Too much fruity sweetness.

Hazy, orange color. Big, white head. Citrus, melon, and malt in the aroma.. Moderately sweet, juicy taste. moderate hoppy bitterness for balance at the end.

 

 

 

 

Intense concentrated huge cantaloupe melons

 

I’ve seen some things… maybe even lived a few too. That one time in Tijuana where I traded three pairs of Diesel jeans for my freedom? Yeah, that was a thing. And waking up on an empty plane - after a bender in Vegas - without my seatbelt strapped, and face down on my lap tray to a flight attendant shaking me? Man… my twenties were wild! All that said, do I see this Finback like those wild times? A bit. But I won’t write in my journal about it.

4th review. Ambrosial. Original. Artisinal. IPA heaven.
a) Muddy grapefruit amber murk with lots of lace but not much stick, more like a chicken fat skim.
s) Flower wall, followed unusual hope notes: orange blossoms, melon, strawberry.
t) Adds more flowers, medicinal, pine and pineapple.
f) Nectar mouth feel.
o) One of the most original new NE DIPAs that I've tried recently.

Poured from a 16oz can into a teku. Can date is 5/26/22.

L- Hazy murky orange.

S - Dank hop melded with cantaloupe.

T- Lush tropical fruit salad flavor upfront,
followed by a nice hop bite!

F- That LI silky smooth mouthfeel is
present!

O- Another fantastic Finback offering!
The cantaloupe adds an enjoyable
layer of yum!

Cantaloupe adds such an interesting element here. Delicious and absolutely world-class.
