Had a tulip of this on draft at D'Ciccos and loved it so brought home a 4 pack. Compelling smell which I have as pine, pineapple, citrus, mango and a little butterscotch. Taste is yummy with flavors along the same lines as the smell. Very smooth and non-alcohol forward given the ABV. A little zing upfront and a relaxed aftertaste. Definitely one to try.

Tall can w/ 4/6/20 stamped on the bottom.
Nice looking NEIPA kinda pour, hazed/clouded medium squash soup hued brew, supporting a load of fine bubble froth, and more then ample fine sheeting and ringed sheeting...nice looking brew.
Sniff of mild pineapple and some assorted lemon/lime citric notes.
Tasty brew with more lemon/lime/melon/pineapple notes going on...bright, crisp and flavorful.....enjoyable and well worth a try.

This one pours a hazy golden yellow color, with a small head, and lots of lacing.
This smells like weedy and piney hops, grapefruit, mango, flowers, and maybe even a hint of coconut?
This is a cool hop blend - floral and almost coconutty, and pretty intensely tropical and citrusy, with mango and grapefruit primarily. Sabro and HBC 472 hops are pretty cool, it seems.
This is light bodied, creamy, and with basically no booziness, which is nice for the style.
Finback has very high highs and pretty low lows at times - this is a solid upper middle.

This pale yellow-orange can pour host a fine, white foam cap and an aroma of orange, and pineapple. The flavor follows the nose and includes mango along with some coconut and mint.
The hop bitterness is moderate and arrives late. The mouthfeel is very smooth. This is very good.

The beer is stunning to look at with amazing lacing. The lacing is probably some of the best I've ever seen. When pouring into the glass the smell is the first thing you notice with very heavy citrus notes, you think you're about to drink some orange juice. And then the taste, oh the taste is just incredible. Has the very heavy citrus with a touch of savory on the back note. This slight savory mixed with a little bit of sweet is what keeps me coming back to the Finback DIPA's they've been releasing. I'm not great at picking out all the fruits that people seem to describe in a beer but all I can say is this is up there in terms of my favorite DIPA's. As far as I can remember it isn't quite as good as Finback's Passthrough but is not too far off.
I honestly can't say enough good things about Finback Brewery and they currently are my favorite at the moment. We have a lot of great micro brewers here in Maine but I still just keep coming back to Finback's incredible creations. I wish I had better access to all of their releases. I live near two different places that seem to consistently get in some of their cans but I see a lot of cans released that never make it here in Downeast Maine. If you see this beer on the shelf I highly highly recommend it!!
