Pours pitch black and thick, impervious to light. Zero head, great legs. Great aroma dominated by maple and coffee, supplemented by chocolate and boozy bourbon barrel, light vanilla. Flavor is sweet maple followed by a gentle espresso bitterness, chocolate covered fudge brownies, I get luxardo cherries on the finish followed by dark chocolate. Amazing. Very light carbonation, very thick and dense. Overall a delicious find in the back of my beer fridge, must have been there for a year…

Bottle from the brewery in Queens. Pours a thick black with zero head, spotty boozy fingers on the glass, smell is fudgey bourbon soaked toffee cake, deep dark maple syrup, burnt caramel, earthy dark coffee, dark chocolate sponge cake, bourbon, wood, and vanilla, taste is maple syrup, bourbon, dark roast coffee, vanilla, sticky toffee cake, coffee cake, dry dark chocolate cake, corner brownie piece, feel is full bodied, thick and viscous, sweet. Like eating brownies dipped in maple syrup spiked with coffee and bourbon. A maple syrup bomb.
