A - Opaque light orange tan color that resembles grapefruit juice. Lacing is micro-thin.
S - Dank citrus on the nose with juicy grapefruit and spicy citrus rind.
T - Juicy, spicy citrus rind from start to finish that builds momentum throughout. Up front is citrus, grapefruit, peppery spice, and citrus rind. After the sip when the dust settles there some onion and garlic that starts to surface along with some lingering lime.
M - Big, chewy body and with the carbonation settling on the tongue it gets a little frothy at moments. The mix of carbonation and spiciness is a little "sharp", but I like that nuance.
O - Really dig the juicy peppery spicy citrus aspect of this beer. This one is all about the spicy citrus rind and it's bold. Recommended.

Ah, another Finback IPA I haven't had to add to BA. What is the world coming to? 2021 sure is weird. Anyway, this is a new entry into Finback's "we dry-hopped this with a special hop blend that we just call 'all the hops'" series (that's what I'm calling it anyway). There was at least one more of these some time in the middle of last year, but I don't think I reviewed it, nor do I remember much about it. I guess we'll see what's in store here, and maybe try to guess at what hops are involved if there's anything to pick out of the crowd.
The pour is... um, gross. It looks like dense sewer water combined with a splash of pineapple-orange juice mixed in for "good measure." The soapy head lingers for all of three or four seconds before hurriedly bubbling away to nearly-nothing atop the "healthy-looking" liquid in my glass. No lace or legs, either. Yeah, guys... this is pretty unattractive.
The nose is super dank and bright with huge passion fruit, grassiness, and spice. I'm going to assume Galaxy and/or Vic Secret is involved, as well as maybe Simcoe or Citra, but I'm sure a bit more will come through as I let it acclimate to room temp. I'm glad it at least smells nice after that really lame pour. Some ripe grapefruit and tangelo notes here with flashes of catty guava and lychee coming in a bit after several minutes. Opens up pretty well and feels like it'll be a fun drink, all things considered.
Punchy and super-green hoppy flavors right upfront; I feel my tastebuds being totally overtaken by strong elements of mango, guava, and passion fruit immediately, but some grassiness, oat-laden maltiness, and hints of dank pine and baking spice come across toward the finish. Feel is a bit chewy and on the thicker end of things, but I kinda expected that from the appearance and just how intense the hops smelled as soon as I cracked it. Carbonation is moderate-to-high, which helps a bit with levity and provides a solid drinking experience. Definitely a little bit of hop burn here, though, but I've had worse (from Finback, no less), and I don't think it detracts from the experience as much as really underlines just how nuts this hop blend must be. I still think I'm going to stick with my previous guesses of VS/Galaxy, Citra, and Simcoe, perhaps with some Amarillo or Nelson in there as well, bringing in a touch of floral crispness/dankness for fun. Could be totally wrong, but that's the impression I get, and I'm sticking to it. Enjoyable, if ugly.
