Having this poured from a can at the Grand Delancey in the Essex Market.
Brilliant, bright orange color with a fluffy head that dissipates after a little bit.
Tropical fruit and vegetal spice on the nose. Mango, cantaloupe, and grapefruit. A hint of green onion funk in the background.
Bright tart fruit up front on the taste. Sweet but not overly so. Preserved lemon and candied orange, then pineapple for a long tingly tart finish. Really well balanced. No hint of the alcohol other than a touch of sweetness.
It’s pretty light but it coats the mouth really nicely. Lots of zippy carbonation. Tastes really fresh.
Fantastic NE IPA. Finback is always great in that department but this is one of the best I’ve tried from them. Great balance of sweet and tart and it really highlights the brightness of the tropical fruit flavors. Pleasingly light but also full bodied. I’ll be looking out for this one again.

4 pack purchased at local distributor. Date on can 4/1/21. Pours a hazy almost murky deep gold. Thick fluffy foamy head with good retention. Not much of a nose maybe a slight tropical fruit essence. Classic Finback mouthfeel: smooth, luscious fantastic. Nice subtle citrus bite. Not their greatest but well worth the price.
