From the can, pours a hazy yellow color with notes of orange in the glass. A fingernail length frothy head retains well.
The nose opens with bright and citrusy notes of orange, lemon and lime. Tropical aromas of papaya and guava follow, with accompanying notes of cracker malt, grassy spices, floral notes and a touch of herbal dank.
Bright and juicy with a dryness that makes it easy to drink. Citrusy and pithy notes of orange, tangerine, grapefruit and lime in tandem with spicy notes of pine and grass create a nice contrast. Crisp cracker malts and creamy oats support juicy flavors of papaya, mango and guava, as well as an easy going and lightly resiny bitterness. The finish is bright, semi crisp and dry, with a slightly lingering bitterness.
Medium bodied with a mouthfeel that is both crisp and creamy. The carbonation is moderate to lively.
This is a hazy and juicy IPA just the way I like it. Nice juicy flavors balanced by hops spices and bitterness, as well as a nice dryness.
