On tap at Craft+Carry, NYC. This beer is their collaboration with Finback.
Pours a hazy yellow, tint of orange, color. A moderate frothy head soon dissipates and yields lacing.
A juicy nose evokes a broad spectrum of citrus, tropical and stone fruit. Aromas of grapefruit, orange, mango, pineapple and peach.
Opens sweet and juicy but with a nice dryness to it. Semi crisp cracker and bready malts give way to fruity hops flavors. Notes of grapefruit, orange, lime, mango and peach are accompanied by a lightly pithy bitterness and piney spices. The finish is bright and dry with a lightly lingering bitterness.
Medium bodied and moderately carbonated. The mouthfeel is mostly smooth but has some crispness to it.
Solid hazy IPA. Nice balance of juicy flavors with the appropriate bitterness, spice and a nice dryness that’s good for drinkability.
