On draft at Finback Brooklyn, poured into a plastic glass (sitting outside)
L: pours a bright and creamy orange juice, slightly white head that fades after a minute or so. Small layer of foam left, nice lacing left with each sip
S: solid mixed tropical/citrusy fruit nose, very slightly sweet, but more bright than dank/overripe/etc. There’s some more depth to the aroma toward the end, get a bit of piney bitterness as well. Pineapple and mango most of what I’m getting, some apricot/drupe action, orange as well
T: follows the nose well, lots of tropical fruit notes with a slight bitterness in the finish. Get some mango, pineapple, orange, grapefruit, bit of apricot. That piney bitterness comes through nicely toward the finish, lingers pleasantly. Abv works well here, not abrasive
F: medium body, medium carbonation, fairly smooth but not overly pillowy/full/etc. Slightly drying
O: very tasty DIPA, full flavored without letting the elevated abv take over. Piney finish a nice touchO
