On draught at Meckelburgs, Brooklyn, NY.
Pours a hazy yellow orange color. A modest head dissipates quickly but exhibits some nice frothy lacing.
Good nose, semi fragrant and dank, with notes of citrus and tropical fruit and herbal hops. Aromas of mango, papaya, passion fruit, grapefruit, orange and lime. Herbal notes of grass, pine, pepper, basil and verbena.
A smooth and creamy malt backbone evokes notes of bread, biscuit wheat and oats. Fruity flavors align with the aroma, with bright notes of citrus pith and soft tropical fruit standing out. Moderately juicy overall but with a dry palate. Gently spicy notes of pine, grass, basil and verbena with some bitterness. The finish is dry with notes of grass and grapefruit.
Medium bodied with moderate to gentle carbonation. The mouthfeel is in between smooth and crisp.
Nice IPA! Good hops flavors executed in a very clean and smooth way. I would have again.
