Typical Finback look: golden color with a 4F head in a Spielgelau IPA glass.
Nice aroma with warming: strong pineapple.
Medium body.
The taste is a bit dank and not enough pineapple. The Kohatu and Bru1 hops bring out a spicy, some tropical fruit, and slightly dank flavor. Not enough citrus in this beer for me.
Moderately hoppy finish.
I prefer the more citrus forward beers from the brewer.

Dark, murky orange color with a sudsy, fluffy head that dissipates pretty quickly.
Ripe cantaloupe and pineapple on the nose with a slight hint of pine and some spicy green onion funk in the background.
Taste is dryer than I expected based on the smell. There are some fruit flavors in the taste but it's more dominated by the sort of green veggie spice. There is a little bit of the sweet cantaloupe flavors and berry flavors but then the finish is long and dry with a decent amount of dank pine.
Pretty light mouthfeel for a NEIPA but the dryness contributes to the light feel of it. Lots of fizzy carbonation.
I like dry NEIPAs but this one might actually be a little dry side for me. It's good for something different but I tend to like a better balance between sweet and dry.
