Decent head production, and really impressive retention for a modern IPA. Body is less turbid that some other NE-style IPAs, but it's still opaque.
Very bright and citrus-forward aroma, with tropical fruit secondary and green herbs tertiary. Orange, pineapple, basil, oregano, lemon zest. Very attractive, if not particularly ground breaking.
Incredibly juicy on the palate (more than two months after canning, in fact). Really wonderful expression of tropical fruit and citrus flavors: pineapple, papaya, mango, and orange creamsicle. Very little in the way of herbal expression makes it from the nose to the palate, but that could be a function of age. Moderate to low bitterness.
Very smooth on the palate, with a lovely bite and high drinkability.
This is an absolutely top notch, amazing NE-style IIPA.
