Solid malt balanced very nicely with hops. No overt alcohol or sweet tones whatsoever, which is hard to do at 9% ABV. I am a big fan of Finback IPAs such as Rolling in Clouds and Something Citra. This Double IPA hits the right flavor notes and balance, and it avoids any harsh flavor extremes. Well done, Finback.

A: Pours a hazy orange color with 2 fingers of head that fades down to a thin cap that leaves decent lacing

S: Lots of citrus up front along with some lighter stone fruit and tropical notes

T: Follows the nose. Starts off with the citrus and stone fruit then picks up some lighter floral notes. Light bitterness. Finishes with lingering citrus

M: Medium bodied with moderate carbonation

O: A great Citra DIPA that drinks dangerously easy for 9%. Worth checking out

Can from the brewery in Queens. Pours a hazy/murky dark golden orange with a finger of creamy white head that dissipates, nice lacing, smell is candied orange peel, overripe orange flesh, orange cotton candy, underripe papaya, cantaloupe rind, honey, hints of coconut and yellow cake, taste is orange slices, orange zest, orange frosting, hints of apricot and peach, feel is full bodied, creamy carbonation, mild hop burn, dry finish. Candied orange soup.

A: The beer is very hazy to cloudy pale yellow in color. It poured with a quarter finger high white head that left a narrow collar around the edge, and thin layer covering the surface, and some specks of lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of lychee are present in the nose along with hints of lime.
T: The taste follows the smell and has additional hints of gooseberry with some bits of alcohol noticeable towards the finish.
M: It feels medium-bodied, smooth and a bit juicy on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: This IPA has dominant aromas and flavors of Citra hops in both the smell and taste.
