Look: pale yellow with 4F head in a Tulip.
Aroma: funky, fruity. With warming more complex fruit.
Medium body
Taste: fruity and very spicy. Most likely from HBC 586.
Overall: very good DIPA. Best above 45°. Closer to 48°. I prefer smoother NEIPAs over this style.

This one is super dank and resinous on the nose. That will certainly appeal to many; for me, it's a bit of a challenge. It's very expressive, however, and I'm quite impressed overall. Additional notes of pepper, pine, mango, and grapefruit.
Less dank on the palate - but there's still a pungent herbal bite. Naturally, it's lusher and fruitier, really carrying strong tropical notes of papaya, banana, and mango, accented with a bit of mandarin orange. Relatively sweet from a creamy, heavy malt base.

A: The beer is very hazy to cloudy pale yellow in color. It poured with a half finger high white head that has good retention properties and only died down a slight bit and left lots of lacing down the sides of the glass.
S: Moderate aromas of mango and lychee are present in the nose.
T: The taste follows the smell but has additional notes of herbal hops and stone fruit. There is a light amount of bitterness.
M: It feels medium-bodied, crisp and a bit juicy on the palate with a moderate amount of carbonation.
O: The taste of this IPA is quite complex. It also drinks rather well considering its strength and does a very good job at hiding any traces of alcohol from the taste.
