Muddy coffee black with brown edges and a short mocha foam head that quickly dies to a slight film.
The coffee and coconut come across like a breakfast pastry, with the peanut accenting like a spread. It's also got caramelized nougat and hazelnut wafer going on, although backed by some heat.
It's not often you have the intensity of a glop stout like this at a craft beer bar, but wow, what a surprise here at The Whale in Greenville.
