Pours very dark and thick, no head. Big chocolate and banana aroma. Flavor is banana, followed by chocolate, sweet vanilla, light coffee. Faint coconut. Very thick and viscous, creamy texture, light carbonation. Overall I usually don’t care for banana but this is great.

16oz. capped bottle into a Side Project snifter.
Pours dark, dense, and oily. Huge, sticky legs. A dark mocha head comes up and collapses quickly. Boozy nose. Chocolate, coffee, molasses, tobacco, and toasted coconut. Vanilla and sweet cream as well. Beer opens sweet. I get vanilla, chocolate, molasses, syrup, and booze. More vanilla and fudge in the middle. Some slight toasted coconut notes towards the end. Booze and barrel throughout. The flavor is great but the coconut and banana are not prominent at all. Body is full with low carbonation. Slick, oily, and chewy on the palate and goes down warm and slick with a messy finish and long, lingering, filmy aftertaste.
I'd put the base flavor and body of this up against anything in the style. However, the banana and coconut are just are just barely there and even then, only if you really want to taste it.
