16oz. can into a Side Project snifter.
Pours super dense and rich. Near no head. Spotty lace with huge, oily legs. Nose is lactose, chocolate, cocoa, and brownie. Very aromatic with a nice sweetness. Beer opens sweet. I get chocolate, coconut, fudge, molasses, brown sugar, and sweet cream. A touch of nuttiness towards the end with almost a muted savoriness towards the finish. Body is full with low carbonation. Smooth and rich on the palate and goes down slightly hot with a long, lingering, luscious aftertaste.
This one's not as sweet as some of Finback's other imperial stouts. Very solid.

L: Poured from a pint can into a sniffer - extremely thick jet black pour - in a way comparable to a barrel aged pour with little foam risen to the surface. a quarter to half a fingers length of foam risen to the surface.
S: Getting notes of chocolate, vanilla, and maple. The maple is dominating the aroma.. Not sure about the condensed milk. This makes me think the taste might be milk chocolate/ bakers chocolate, but the dominating aroma is definitely the maple.
T: Ohh wow!!!!!! The maple is a strong predominant factor of the first sip. This thick beer has lactose in it for sure and can be sensed in the smell. Tasting, maple with coconut followed by a silky milk chocolate with slight almond. Jeez this one is a good one.
F: Thick, heavy bodied, easy to drink for sure, can be considered pastry. No carbonation. This beer is amazing actually.
O: I think for what it is this beer should be considered semi world class to beginning. The balance between the flavors is phenomenal and will be buying this again.
