look: 3 | smell: 3 | taste: 2.75 | feel: 3 | overall: 3
L- Pale chestnut, clear, pours with 3-4mm white head that holds pretty well.
S- Rich orange. It lists marmalade as a facet and I can see that.
T- Hops-forward, the citrus comes from and in parallel with a hoppy/dry profile.
F- The hoppy/dry taste is quite pungent, but at least it's got the 5.6%ABV beneath as a balancing foundation.
O- If you like contemporary beers with citrus profiles this could be one of try. It does the hops-forward thing in quite a balanced way, and it's not trying to blow the drinker out of the park. That said, it's very expensive and not something I'll be looking to buy again.
Bought from Daylesford, London W2. £2.99/300ml bottle. BB: 04/01/20.
