L- Quite dark amber with a very slight haze. Pours with a 1cm white fine-bubble head which holds well and leaves lacing all the way down the glass.
S- Quite subtle. Some citrus zest, perhaps over on the orange side of the spectrum.
T- Quite dry, growing into a dryer hoppy finish. It has a very contemporary citrusy profile that's fashionable, the hoppy dryness in the taste is now more reminiscent of grapefruit than orange.
F- I can tell it's low ABV%, it doesn't have much meat on it's bones. What it does instead is create some impactful flavour by being notably hopped.
O- It reminds me of the profile of some of the Beavertown beers, though it's hopping isn't as OTT as they can be. Daylesford is an expensive shop, but I bought this to try it and to add it to the listings here. That done there is nothing distinctive enough to make me pay it's price again.
