Poured into a becher pint glass.
The appearance was a nice looking dark brown close to black color with a two finger tan foamy head. Nice slow dissipation to leave some moderate lace.
The aroma had a nice roasty soft sweet coffee blended character rolling into a tickle of vanilla bean and a touch of dark chocolate.
The flavor took the prior mentioned aromas to meld together sweetly but add a nice bitter and roasty underneath. Everything combining nicely to lead into the after taste.
The mouthfeel was about medium bodied with a fair sessionability about it. Good carbonation and a nice ABV strolled about. Nice finish with the roastiness gripping some of my tongue.
Overall, pretty nice oatmeal stout I'd give another shot. Thanks Russ.

Pours an effervescent mahogany with 2 fingers of mocha colored head. Zero head retetion & lacing
S: Coffee & cocoa

T: Mocha, caramel, dryness up front. Dryness, vanilla, mocha & charred wood as this warms; plus coffee grinds as this warms, Finishes dry, with mocha flavors, a touch of woody herbal hops, some Baker's chocolate & charred wood & vanilla

MF: Medium body, smooth carbonation

Drinks easy for the style, well worth a try, if you get the chance

From a can into a pint glass. Pours a black color with a fingernail head that doesn't linger. Nose of coffee and toasted oats. Taste is roasted malt, nutty oats, and roasted coffee. Medium body and medium-low carbonation.
Very coffee forward and drinkable. Something I get every winter.

Nice coffee notes without being too overboard. Good amount of roastiness but not burnt. Pours black - minimal lacing, but good overall head retention. Goes down smooth, and with the 5.8% i totally want a second one. Not gonna knock you on your ass.
