On tap. Pours a flat black color with no head or lacing. Nose of roasted malt. Taste is roasted malt and slightly sweet chocolate. Medium body and medium carbonation.
Malt forward and thick enough, it fits the bill for a session porter. Good, but it doesn't stand out in a competition.

L: Pours a mahogany brown color with a small amount of head and no lacing.
S: A big nose of coffee mixed with a nice bittersweet dark chocolate and a few notes of raisins.
T: Lots of dark earthy coffee mixed with bittersweet dark chocolate and a little bitterness.
F: Rich mouthfeel but carbonation seems a little high.
O: A solid porter, nothing mind blowing but definitely drinkable.

Pours a mahogany tinged chestnut with a thumb of tan head. Stays effervescent, very nice lacing & head retention
S: Faint coffee, a little cocoa, figs & raisins, as this warms
T: Follows the nose, a little leafy hops & roastyness, plus dryness up front. Roastyness, a touch of woody hops,
& a touch of coffee as this warms. Finishes dry, roasty, and with leafy hops, a touch of fig as well
MF: Medium body, firm carbonation , thins out a bit as it warms, but the carbonation smooths out once warm
Passable porter, drinkable enough, but one & done
