This one was interesting but suffered due to comparison with my favorite beer of all time, Schneider Aventinus.

But still, this wasn't bad, To me, it was a simpler, more acidic, less fragrant version of Aventinus.

Very tangy, but not super smooth, and few of the banana and spices I would expect of the style.

On tap at the Tulsa airport, dark opaque brown, no head, no lacing. Smells of roasted malt, slight toffee and clove, medium carbonation , much lighter feel than expected ( but that’s a Dunker characteristic, right?) Easy drinking, what I need today.

On tap into a stein. Pours a copper amber color with a one finger head that lingers. Nose of banana, clove, and toffee. Taste is banana, spices, toffee, and a short note of spicy hops before an oxidized hit in the finish. Medium body and medium carbonation with a not so good finish.
It looked and smelled right but the oxidized taste on the back end really hurt the beer for me. It was un-ignorable and made the beer slightly unpleasant to finish.
