12 ounce can - $2.79 at Total Wine & More in Kennesaw, Georgia.
07/06/19.
Appearance: Pours a dark russet-toned body with just under an inch of collapsing, light beige suds.
Smell: Somewhat modest aroma, yielding some scant notes of broil-baked breadcrust, earthy nuts and even fainter hints of dark brown sugar and ester fruitiness.
Taste: A flavor that walks that line between toast and roast -- let's just go with lightly charred toast, even a bit ashen. Coarse-ground, roasted pecan. Very, very mild accent of brown sugar, bitterish chocolate powder. Tiny estery hint. Middling bitterness. Given its dry start, the dry finish is without question.
Mouthfeel: Medium-thin body. Medium carbonation.
Overall: An altogether average yet serviceable brown.
