Easy to find in a one horse town; easy to figure out how the brewery got the name too. Inside, the yellow walls and low ceiling offer a warm atmosphere. A chalkboard above the taps display what beers they offer. On my visit they had 7 house beers. I sampled all of them. Stylistically speaking the lighter offerings, wheat, blonde, hoppy wheat, etc were better than the brown and porter (both had good flavor but no body). The pale ale and IPA were both solid too.
Pretzels are free otherwise the food is an assortment of pizzas. The pizzas are not some fancy-ass wood fired gourmet pizza but they are a hefty step above a frozen/fast food pizza… it seems. I did not try the pizza. Just saw one being cooked in the little oven.
IMO, for a beer fan in Omaha it’s worth the drive to Woodbine to check this joint out. It was an enjoyable experience. The owner/brewer/bartender was super nice and chatted about his beers.
