I got a can of this beer out of the hotel lobby refreshment refrigerator at a Holton Garden Inn in Oshkosh, Wisconsin whilst there for my daughter's gymnastics meet. It poured a nearly opaque dark mahogany amber with very thin off white ring head that is not leaving much lace. The scent had very subtle charred grain notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with semi sweet dark chocolate malt base and grain presence. The mouthfeel was lighter in body with good carbonation. Overall it is a great beer.
