Poured on nitro draft at the brewery.
Pours a dark cola brown with a finger of off-white khaki head. The head leaves a ton of lacing before settling into a thin halo.
The aroma brings notes of milk chocolate, coffee, and brown sugar. The back end has a strong vanilla note.
The flavor is more vanilla forward with lots of roasted coffee and sweet milk chocolate. There's some brown sugar and a kiss of hops on the finish.
The feel is medium bodied and exceptionally smooth and creamy. Very dry on the finish.
Overall, a very good porter that's full of flavor and roastiness. Reminds me a lot of Left Hand milk stout.
