500 ml bottle into a chalice.
Pours a hazy lemonade color with a small white head. Minimal retention and lacing, which is fairly normal for the style. Settles into a halo. Ugly color.
The aroma brings notes of oak and lemon zest, with a fair bit of plums. Mild brett funk notes. Straightforward for the style but the plums add a nice fruity character.
The flavor brings notes of plums and green apples, with some mild vinegar and citrus. Modest tartness. Finishes yeasty and sweet with a touch of brett.
The feel is light bodied with good carbonation. Crisp and very dry.
Overall, this is a pretty solid wild ale. The plum character is nice but far too subtle. Very drinkable but not anything special.
