Half Pint on Cask from Allanwater Brewhouse - Brewed on sight under Tinpot Microbrewery:
Light amber with a clear body and a bubbly, white head that settles as a patchy lacing after a minute or so.
Spicy with lots of lemongrass and some ginger too, there was a few Indian style spices and something reminiscent of cardamom pods. There was perhaps some vanilla but it was subtle and there was a few citrus notes too but the lemon dominated with the ginger.
Ginger and lemon with some strong spices coming through too, mainly Asian in style with some light malts in the background and a few hints of citrus.
Smooth with almost no carbonation and a flat but very spicy feel to the beer that overpowered me as I tried to drink it.
Not as good as I was expecting, especially after trying a sample before I ordered the half pint, and even that proved too much to finish without help.
