Draft pint at Chez Lulu. Imperial City Olde Ale. I assume it is the same thing as olde ale. Very good beer. But that's what you expect from Trim Tab. Fruit, coffee, hops, malt, chocolate all come through the nose and taste for me. Very complex and full bodied. Allow for it to warm a little.

Had this on tap tonight in a local pub. A very enjoyable, drinkable beer. An Old Ale that is close to a Porter in color and taste.

Tap at Hop City. Pours dark brown with white head. Aroma of chocolate, caramel, dark fruits and vanilla. Tastes of vanilla, coffee, caramel and chocolate. Sweet finish and medium body. Very good.

A: Pours medium brown with one finger off white head. Moderate lacing
S: Caramel. Fresh baked biscuits with honey.
T: Sweet malts, caramel, butterscotch, honey. Faint nuttiness.
M: Medium body and light carbonation. Lingering sweetness.
O: Very enjoyable old ale. Perhaps they will offer a barrel aged version of this in the future.
