Poured from a 22 ounce bottle into a Teku glass. This is a review of the Affirmation Blanc, described as a "dry-hopped golden sour ale."
4/4.5/4.25/3.75/4.5
Slightly hazy hay-colored with notable effervescence and scant head.
Smells fruity, tart, and funky in that order. Very tropical with lactic acid. Dried mango.
Pretty light-bodied, with a wheaty-thin backbone, but the front-loaded flavors are anything but weak. Absolutely bursting with lemonade, lime zest, canned peaches, and dried apricot.
A wonderfully refreshing, quite tart, not too strong, wonderfully fruity sour.
Notes
"Affirmation Blanc: This dry-hopped golden sour ale is a kettle sour with an aroma that is driven by its Nelson Sauvin and Citra dry hop. It explores tart citrusy white wine and passion fruit flavors with just a hint of pine."
