Taste: Full of citrus and pineapple. Bitter in the finish.
Overall: Not incredibly complex, but very delicious.

Never heard of Trimtab before having this but when I saw this offering available on Tavour, I wanted to give this a go. Thankfully, this was worth the effort to obtain as it was a lovely Imperial IPA that was relatively easy to enjoy, plenty filling, and nicely crafted as there was lots to enjoy here.
No surprise that this was a muted goldenrod with enough head to top it off. Only a bit of spotty lacing was left behind on the bottom half of my pint glass, as I expected bit more from this brew. Lots of wheat and dank fruit in the nose as the taste had enough mango, papaya, melon, pine, and white grape to go with quite a bit of solvent. Indeed, this was strong and felt every bit of it's listed ABV and although that wasn't a deterrent, that could have been toned down a notch or two. There was enough body and carbonation to this as I had to swirl out a bit of sediment from the bottom of the liquid before I finished this off.
Couldn't read the date on the bottom of the can but this held up fine and checked off all of the boxes for an IPA. I'm still attempting to figure out what the logo is about, as the QR code and label art were also a bit different. Need to give these guys another go...

50cl crowler from Brewdog Glasgow (£6.15):
Medium amber, fairly clear & topped with a foamy white head that leaves some lacing on the sides & has good retention. It's strong & hoppy on the nose with some alcohol, pine & dank tropical fruits plus some citrus. The taste is similar with lots of tropical hops, citrus & pine then some grapefruit & hop oils to finish. There is a strong alcohol backing throughout & it's quite warming with moderate carbonation & a very dry, bitter finish.

L - Gorgeous cloudy blond with lots of head and sticky lacing left all over the glass
S - Dank citrus notes. Yum.
T - Juicy with an overdose of citrus flavors, pineapple. Extremely tasty.
F - Full body and medium carbonation
O - One of the best NE IPA's I've had, no joke. Really good! Definitely need to stock up on more of this one

Canned 03/14/19.
Nice hazy yellow pour, large amounts of sticky white head that settles slowly back into the beer. Heavy lace retention that falls in layers.
Mild tropical fruits, namely pineapple. Predominance of citrus, pithy but also with a residual sweetness that compliments an underlying malt and floral hop presence. Well rounded, subtly complex.
A re-emergence of citrusy goodness, only this time with a bit more malt and melon with a lingering piney bitterness on the back end. Hints of earthy, floral qualities as well that I’ve come to get used to with Nelson Sauvin hops.
Nice pillowy soft mouthfeel. Medium carbonation and smooth going down. Light mouth coating and residual stickiness.

12oz can from Sprayberry Bottle Shop (Marietta, GA). 2.89. No canning date. Served in a goblet. Enjoyed 6/8/18.
Pours a hazy, opaque muted orange with over two fingers of ecrue head. The foam recedes, leaving a light surface haze, a thin belt and several sizeable patches of lace.
Smells primarily of citrus and tropical hops. There are also notes of vague flowers, berries and a little cakey malt presence.
Juicy orange and melon notes kick off the flavor. Earthy floral, a moderate dankness, sweet biscuit and just a hint of alcohol.
Body is pillowy and rather full with fluffy carbonation. There seems to be a little more bitterness to the aftertaste with orange peel, melon rind and a little bit of cake.
They’ve been distributing to Georgia for a couple months but this is my first brew from Trimtab. The Original 006 is a solid DIPA in the currently popular hazy, juicy style. I won’t shy away from enjoying more of this and will need to branch out to try more from Trimtab.

I'm trying this at the brewery. It poured a hazy orangish with white head that is leaving a spotty lace. The scent had tropical fruit presence. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with tropical fruit presence. The mouthfeel was medium in body with good carbonation. Overall its a solid beer.

Poured from 16 oz. can dated 7/19/2018.
A: Completely hazy pale orange tinted yellow with 1-2 finger white head. Lasting retention and moderate lacing.
S: Amazing aromas that hit you as soon as you start the pour. Pineapple, mango, passion fruit, and ripe melons.
T: Straight up juicy NEIPA. Mango, pineapple, apricot, slightly overripe melons with just a touch of grapefruit. Just the right amount of dank hops.
M: Medium body with average carbonation. Soft creamy mouthfeel.
O: Excellent DIPA. Hoping more of these offerings from Trim Tab makes it up our way.
