Got in a BIF from KMitch. 16 ounce can into tulip glass; no can dating, but is a recent release. Pours very hazy golden orange/amber color with a 1 finger fairly dense and fluffy off white head with good retention, that reduces to a thin cap that lingers. Light spotty soapy lacing clings on the glass, with a fair amount of streaming carbonation. Aromas of big lightly tart/tangy orange juice, grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, red/green apple, mango, watermelon, berry, citrus peel/zest, light pepper/pine, vanilla, cream, wheat, biscuit dough, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of citrus/fruity/tropical hops, oranges, vanilla, lactose, bready malt, and light acidic yeast notes; with great strength. Taste of big lightly tart/tangy orange juice, grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, red/green apple, mango, watermelon, berry, citrus peel/zest, light pepper/pine, vanilla, cream, wheat, biscuit dough, herbal, and floral/grassy earthiness. Light pine, citrus peel/zest, herbal, floral, grassy, spicy bitterness; and fruit tang/tartness on the finish. Lingering notes of tart/tangy orange juice, grapefruit, lemon, lime, peach, pear, pineapple, apricot, passion fruit, red/green apple, mango, watermelon, berry, citrus peel/zest, light pepper/pine, vanilla, cream, wheat, biscuit dough, and herbal/floral/grassy earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Awesome complexity, robustness, and balance of citrus/fruity/tropical hops, oranges, vanilla, lactose, bready malt, and light acidic yeast flavors; with a nice malt/bitterness, and tart/tangy fruit balance; with no puckering/astringent flavors after the finish. Lightly increasing dryness from lingering bitterness and tart/tangy fruit. Medium carbonation and medium-plus body; with a very smooth, creamy/silky/grainy, and lightly sticky/acidic/tangy mouthfeel that is great. Minimal warming alcohol for 7%. Overall this is an awesome milkshake IPA! All around great citrus/fruity/tropical hops, oranges, vanilla, lactose, bready malt, and light acidic yeast flavors; very smooth and easy to drink with the mildly bitter/acidic/tangy/drying finish. Awesomely balanced juicy oranges/El Dorado hops, vanilla, lactose, and wheat/oat/malts. Not overly sweet from lingering dryness. A very enjoyable offering, and spot on style example. You can barely tell it's Lacto soured.

Appearance - Hazy pale golden color, head doesn't stay at all, light foam ring at edges.
Aroma - I barely notice the aroma at all, the small aroma i do catch is sour not much else.
Taste - Taste is really good, it's interesting how they have so many flavors to work with. I would say Sour is most prominent, hoppiness not too far behind. Orange and TANGY is the next one and if your really lookin for it i pick up the vanilla in the aftertaste just barely. I think this is delicious, but i think it would be better described as a sour juicy orange ipa. The sweet vanilla cream part is very overshadowed.
Overall-Good stuff Trim tab puts out some delicious beer.
