Giant Steps is our newest heavy-hitting addition to our Light Visions Collection. We built this NEDIPA with an overbearing grain bill of Pilsner, flaked and malted oats and a finishing dose of lactose for an even creamier body, before sending it off to ferment with our fruit-forward house yeast strain.
On the hop side... well let's just say we may have gone a little nuts. With the freshest Enigma, El Dorado, Loral and Cascade hops on the market, we've managed to create an intensely beautiful hop profile different from most of our hazy IPAs.
This DIPA will overwhelm the senses with flavors and aromas of papaya nectar, mangosteen puree, tangerine pulp and peppery lemon zest; all rounded out with a touch of dank bitterness and a creamy mouthfeel.
IBU: 50

On draft, Loosa Brews, Tuscaloosa, AL.
Nice hazy gold, with nice intermittent spotting of lace around the inside of the glass.
Great nose of sweet citrus, mango, and pineapple. Some underlying booze cuts through the tropical sweetness nicely.
Much more hop-forward on the palate. Mildly bitter, with piney, lightly peppery hops on the forefront. The fruit is drier, with white grapes and melon a more potent characteristic.
Good mouthfeel, soft with a medium carbonation and a dry, mildly dry finish.
