On draft, Loosa Brews.
Really good golden orange coloration, opaque and with soft white head surrounding the glass. Small patterns of lace are left behind.
Huge fruity, tropical nose on this. Notes of pineapple, mango, and passionfruit all ring true and make for an inviting experience.
Big citrus and tropical notes on the palate. The passionfruit is very present, also giving a mild tartness to the overall flavor as well. Finishes with floral, grassy hops that don’t provide too much of a bite, but help in preventing the beer from being too sweet.
Soft mouthfeel, with a low effervescent carbonation and a touch of residual bitterness on the tail. Drinks very smooth for the ABV.

16oz can from Sprayberry Bottle Shop (Marietta, GA). 4.99. Canned 10/10/19. Served in a teku. Enjoyed 10/16/19.
Pours a fully opaque, soft pale yellow with a generous cap of loose white froth.
The nose is full of passion fruit and citrus. Those prominent notes are complemented by marmalade, bread and pineapple pudding.
The flavor delivers that citrus and passion fruit promised by the aroma. Grapefruit, guava, pine, orange cake and zest. A surprisingly low alcohol presence combined with the delicious tropical fruit make this pretty dangerous.
Fairly full, almost syrupy feel with lightly popping carbonation. The aftertaste is like a dry hopped passion fruit and grapefruit bread pudding.
An outstanding triple IPA from Trimtab. Colossus Awakes layers authentic passion fruit on a temptingly smooth triple IPA and it’s right up my alley.
