473 ml can, from Vinmonopolet Bergen Storsenter, thanks to my niece. ABV is 8.5%. Slightly hazy golden colour, large to moderate white head. Distinct aroma of citrus, pineapple and moderate pine. Soft mouthfeel. The slightly sweet flavour has the same elements as the aroma, with a harsh bitterness in the aftertaste.

I got a can of this beer from my good friend and old neighbor from the 'Wego. It poured a hazy orangish with thin white head that is leaving some lace. The scent had dank fruit notes. The taste was nicely balanced and easy to drink with tangerine and blood orange presence. There is also hint of bubblegum. The mouthfeel was medium in body and had good carbonation. Overall it is a solid beer.

Very pale-gold coloring, medium haze, with a nice initial bright white head that drops pretty quickly. Some swirling of the glass brings a pillow of bubbles back around. A few odd splotches of lacing down the glass. Looks the part, but not a standout to the eye
Aroma is not great, at least not for a hazy IIPA. Very muted, with grains, grass, and light fruit certainly there but you have to go digging for them, and that's not what I expect from an 8%+ IPA. Quite dank, very grape-dominated, with some citrus and stone fruit in there as well. Lightly herbal and floral, with plenty of cracked wheat at the end. Again, you really have to go digging. Quite surprising.
Taste is a definite step up, and quite unique. Again, heavy grape notes, but this time I get a lot of berry, citrus, and stone fruit, especially blue berry, ruby red grapefruit, and and peach. Quite dank and grassy, with a strong earthy breadiness. It has an odd flavor at the end that I can't place. As WickedBeer noted, it's a tang of some sort. Can't tell if it's hop- or grain-related, but either way I'm not loving it. But the overall tongue is quite interesting, with an almost saline note at the end. Quite dry, with the little bit of sweetness matched by a nice note of pithy bitterness.
Feel is really nice, very soft, medium-bodied, and velvety. Almost creamy
I don't expect I'll be coming back to this one after I finish my 4-pack, but I'll look forward to sharing a few with camping buddies this coming week. Fun to try something that's noticeably different from time to time.

Canned 04/27/2020.
Pours a fairly deep hazy amber; some darker coloration than expected, but it's got nice depth. The frothy white head rises to about a finger in height, with huge amounts of lace decorating the inside of the tulip glass.
The nose on this beer is intensely aromatic. Notes of grapefruit, peach, guava, and piney/floral hops all dance on the nose and finish with a mildly tangy tropical linger. The sweetness continues to strengthen as it warms.
I was warned about the unique characteristics of HBC 692, and they don't disappoint here. Definitely getting that notably floral potpourri essence, but it's complimented really nicely by that pine-heavy, aromatic Centennial. On the backbone of the palate is loads of tangy citrus with undertones of berry, vanilla, and stone fruit. That tang lingers into the finish, along with a distinct earthiness. It's not a flavor profile that I'm hugely fond of, but there's no doubting its unique complexity. Additionally, the spelt can be a little bit finicky in that it's known to impart some tangy acidity to the flavor profile of beers; with these hops it works really nicely, and brings out a classic beer ingredient that is starting to become more and more popular again.
With the addition of spelt malt and wheat, the mouthfeel is expectedly full-bodied. There's some residual coating and as mentioned, that touch of mildly bitter acidity. Goes down smoothly, with an ABV higher than I would have guessed for how it drinks.
